Author Spotlight

Anyone who has a blog understands the difficulty of keeping it interesting for their readers. Whether you have a few or many followers, writing fun new things can sometimes be hard.

Now imagine if you were a brand new author writing to make money not just for fun. Finding the right market and the right publishing company can be a nightmare.

I am not the new author about to be introduced, but the time I spent with this author gave me a glimpse of how hard being an author can be.

McArthur is a loving wife and mother who lives in India. She was born and raised in the US, but has had to learn to thrive in a very opposite culture. Each day of her life she stands out as she lives her Christian lifestyle in a Hindu majority atmosphere. Her example of living a Christlike life blesses so many people in northeastern India everyday.

She has recently taken on a new endeavor in which she is writing children's books for Deseret Book Co. The series is called "Girls Who Choose God." The books are about women in the scriptures who choose God and what made them such great women.
